The Merrell Whiteout Eight Waterproof comes from the Winter Sport range, made from a full grain leather and fabric upper, with a TPU Waterproof half shell and a waterproof membrane providing a breathable barrier.  It also features a bellows tongue to keep debris out the boot that can be easily picked up whilst walking, a gaiter D-Ring and a Snowshoe strap ridge.  The Coldproof Ortholite footbed and synthetic fur lining have been treated with Aegis Antimicrobial for odour control, whilst the Merrell Opti-Warm gives lightweight, low-bulk, insulation to keep you warm in the winter. All of this sits on an ActiveHeat insole which has a Silver Reflective Film to give extra warmth, the sole unit also contains a moulded nylon arch shank and Merrell's Air cushioned heel and Q-form.
